Where does Jim stand on school funding?

Jim opposes the diversion of public tax dollars to private and religious school tuition. He describes Education Freedom Accounts as a wealth rebate for families already in private and religious schools, moving upwards of $100 million out of the Education Trust Fund. He also opposes legislation that erodes the ability of local towns to control their school districts, and says the State's legal responsibility to provide funding is being ignored.

Where does Jim Pittman stand on taxes?

Jim says the no new taxes slogan hides the downshifting of State costs onto local property taxes. Where does Jim stand on affordable housing?

He argues that a vibrant state economy depends on stable housing for everyone, not just real estate investors and wealthy weekend property owners, and that without effective legislative action the average worker will be priced out of the state they grew up in.

What does Jim say about the Free State Project?

Jim believes the influence of the Free State Project on the New Hampshire legislature cannot be overstated. He says the group's stated goal is to dismantle government, and that Carroll County has Representatives who are members of the Project or sympathetic to its goals. Their ideologies are inconsistent with the values of the majority of Granite Staters.
